Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) is available for a 30-day public review period.
The report documents the environmental assessment process, described the preferred design, and outlines the environmental protection measures that will be put in place. Public comments are welcome during the review period.

April 29 2026 – The Notice of Completion was published in the Chronicle Journal (Thunder Bay) and the Times Star (Greenstone area). The notice describes the work that has been completed and provides details about the public comment period for the transportation environmental study report.

April 29 2026 - Information about the Notice of Completion was broadcast on CFNO Radio - 100.7 and 107.1 FM for 30 days.

April 27 2026 - The Notice of Completion was distributed to government agencies, stakeholders, and to all Nakina and Geraldton mailboxes.

November 19 2025 – A project update notice was broadcast on CFNO Radio - 100.7 and 107.1 FM for 30 days.

November 5 2025 – The project notice was distributed by mail to Geraldton and Nakina residents.

July 16 2025 – The Notice of Commencement was published in the Chronicle Journal (Thunder Bay) and the Times Star (Greenstone area). The notice was also distributed to government agencies and stakeholders. The purpose of this notice was to introduce the project, tell people how they can learn more, and provide contact details for the project team.
